Faster: The C-130J is faster and climbs more quickly, offers 21% more speed. Time-to-climb is slashed by 50% over earlier model C-130s.
Higher: The C-130J flies higher, climbs over the weather and has a 40% greater cruising altitude than the C-130H.

PACKAGE INSTALLATION:

Extract ALL (Repeat ...*ALL*) the files into the FS9 MAIN Folder using
WINZIP in Classic Mode...Do not use the Wizard...
Make sure the "Use Folder names" BOX is checked in WINZIP.

(Other unzipper programs may work as well but we have not tried them)

New folders will be created and all files automatically installed.

Vista users may need to temporarily disable the UAC (User Account Control) to enable automatic creation of new folders.

Here's how by the numbers...

1. Navigate to where you downloaded the zip file

2. Double click with your mouse on the zip file.

3. WINZIP should open and show all the files inside the zip.

4. Use keyboard shortcut 'CTRL-A' and this will select ALL the files.

5. Click on upper 'Extract' Button in the Main Tool Bar above.

6. Type in your path in the dialog box, the default location is C:\program files\microsoft games\Flight Simulator 9
or Browse to your FSX Location...Open the FSX main folder.

7. Now Click on the 'Extract' button in the upper right.....you're done...go flying.

QUICK OPERATING TIPS & KEYBOARD COMMANDS

*Check list and reference list available from the cockpit kneeboard command.

1. Turn on Tool Tips....Lots of panel information available.
(Go to Options - Settings - General....Click the "Show Tool Tips" box.)

2. SHIFT-E opens/closes the ramp. Opens to floor level in flight, fully open when on the ground.

3. SHIFT-E-2 opens/closes the side crew doors and airstair.

4. Head Up Display (HUD) opens with icon on the panel. Drag right hand edge with mouse to position for best viewing.

5. Wing Tank icon on the main panel shows/hides external wing tanks and, on the RAF model, also the in-flight refuelling probe.
NOTE: This is a visual effect only and has no affect on the fuel quantity or aircraft weight & performance.

6. To raise your seat higher press SHIFT-ENTER

7. In the VC, Shift-W key toggles yoke on/off. There is also a yoke icon on the VC panel

8. The Garmin displays are blank when the model is initialized in FS9. Each display must be switched on individually.
Hover your mouse over the knob marked "C"
